Litvintseva Ekaterina


Litvintseva PhotoEkaterina Litvintseva was born on 15th of December 1986 in Magadan, Russia. She received his first music education at the Childrens’ Music School in Anadyr City – the capital of Chukotka Autonomous Okrug of Russia. From 2002 to 2006 she studied at the Moscow State College of musical performance named after F.Shopin (Class of Irina Gabrielova). Since September 2006 she was a student of Maimonides State Classical Academy in Moscow, piano class of professor Victor Derevianko, professor Alexander Mndoyants and professor Ekaterina Derzhavina. Since 2011 she is studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz in Cologne, piano class of professor Nina Tichman.

Ekaterina took part at various musical competitions and festivals and has obtained the following awards:

1996 – prize-winner in Regional Music Competiton “Young talents of Russia”

1999 – Laureate of the 1st Competition of young performances (Vladivostok city)

2008 – Third prize in the International Concerto Competion and a scholarship within a framework of the Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes, Sde Boker, Israel.

2009 – semifinalist of “Valsesia Musica” International Competition in Varallo Sesia

2012 – First prize winner at the «Medenus-Klavierfestival» , Eulenbroich, Germany

2012 – First prize winner at the Piano Competition “Jugend spielt Klassik”, Remscheid, Germany
